This document proves that the imported goods belong to a GSP country.  The purpose of this document is to prove that the goods actually come from the country of origin. It is used for exports outside of the European Union and has an expiry date.

This document proves that the imported goods belong to a country SPG. The GSP is the "Generalised System of Preferences"which the European Union grants unilaterally, without requiring reciprocity, to the least developed countries that have been recognised as such by the United Nations.

Exports from the least developed countries are exempt from any tariffs in EU markets, a measure that applies to all products except arms.

With this document, many developing countries can export their products to the EU, with very low tariffs and even, in some cases, with a "zero tariff".zero". It is only used for imports.

This list of countries is reviewed annually by the European Union.
