It is an international customs document allowing the temporary importation of trade samples, equipment or professional goods destined for a trade fair or exhibition in countries that are part of the ATA Carnet system.

The system covers more than 70 countries and territories in Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Africa and Oceania. It allows goods to travel to a large number of countries with a single document. Without the ATA carnet, each country's customs procedures would have to be complied with in order to obtain a temporary import of the goods.

An ATA notebook is valid for one year and allows for the movement of the products shown on the Carnet as many times as necessary during that period and to any of the requested destinations. You can order an ATA Carnet through your local Chamber of Commerce.
