As with babies, business incubators help "start-ups" to grow. In other words, they are in charge of finding new projects with great potential to go to market and the most valuable asset is the idea itself and the talent.

They help with physical space, capitalisation, coaching, networking and other basic services to accelerate the growth and success of entrepreneurial projects.

During the process of helping an incubator we have different stages

PHASE 0 - THE SELECTION

Entrepreneurs present their business idea to the incubator. The incubators evaluate the profile of the entrepreneurs and the idea presented.

1ST PHASE - PRE-INCUBATION

IN THIS PHASE, WHICH USUALLY LASTS UP TO 4 MONTHS, THEY DEVELOP:

2ND PHASE - INCUBATION

In incubation, the business plan is put into action and the evolution of the company begins to be seen. In this second phase, the incubator guides the company through the process of implementing the business plan, operation and development. For this, the entrepreneurial team is divided into departments according to established tasks, such as production, logistics, commercial and marketing tasks. Incubation typically lasts between 12 and 18 months, with the final months devoted to analysis of expected medium- and long-term growth. The objective of this phase may be to seek funding, such as a round of seed capital investment.

3RD PHASE - POST-INCUBATION

In the Post-incubation period, an assessment and monitoring of the business growth is carried out to analyse possible improvements. These 6 to 12 months are dedicated to the growth and consolidation of the business. This phase includes continuous monitoring of performance, product improvement and access to new sources of funding.
