THE ENTREPRENEUR'S WHEEL OF SELF-EFFICACY
Self-efficacy can be defined as: one's belief in one's own success or in one's ability to achieve it. Es a concept developed by the psychologist Albert Bandura that refers to the personal perception of effectiveness in any field.
The concept does not refer to the resources you have at your disposal but rather to the opinion you have about what you can do with them.
The Wheel of Self-Efficacy
If I think I can (belief is an opinion, a thought, a belief in one's own ability). y I feel I can (feeling is an emotion of confidence and security that gives me energy and illusion, that pushes me to action). the more effort I will make to get what I want, because only it is about doing and learning from mistakes and I will have greater perseverance and frustration tolerance. When things don't go as well as I would like or as quickly as I would like, I know it's about training constantly and with an open mind to reflect on what brings me closer to what I want and what takes me away and doesn't work.
And this growth mindset, through, of the conviction that I know that I can, I feel that I can and I persevere in it because It's not that I don't have a talent for something, it's that I don't have that skill yet and that skill is achieved with effort, that self-confidence makes it more likely that I will achieve my goals.
There is a very clear relationship between successful entrepreneurs and self-efficacy.
