BIAS OF THE CLUSTERING ILLUSION IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP
A defining bias is the tendency to find patterns in completely random elements, even fabricating new information to justify the pattern.
This bias is dangerous since, once a pattern has been identified, We think it will happen again and again, and it can lead us to make the wrong decisions in the expectation of repetition.
For example, can lead us to believe that when we have had 2 or 3 successes and "momentum" has been createdwill continue "ad infinitum", or worse, as is often the case, it leads us to believe that bad times will last forever. (virtuous vs. vicious circles).
