Accreditation in Strategic Leadership and Management: This accreditation programme focuses on developing advanced leadership and management skills and is suitable for senior leaders and executives. It includes strategy planning and execution, resource management and complex decision making. The duration of the programme is around 12 months and the cost can vary between $5,000 and $10,000 USD.

The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) also offers accreditation and certification programmes for mentors.

THE COMPETENCY FRAMEWORK FOR THE WCC MENTOR IS DIVIDED INTO THREE LEVELS AND COMPRISES THE FOLLOWING AREAS

  1. Level 3 - Mentoring: This level focuses on developing effective mentoring skills, including understanding the principles of mentoring, building an effective relationship with the mentee and understanding common mentoring challenges.
  2. Level 5 - Advanced Mentoring: This level focuses on developing advanced mentoring skills, including the ability to adapt mentoring to different situations, understanding cultural challenges and applying coaching techniques in mentoring.
  3. Level 7 - Executive Mentoring: This level focuses on developing executive mentoring skills, including understanding the needs of executive leaders, the ability to provide constructive feedback and the application of advanced mentoring techniques in high-pressure environments.

Each level of competence is divided into specific units that focus on key skills and knowledge in the area of mentoring.

The WCC accreditation programmes for mentors are based on this competency framework and will be focus on developing skills and knowledge at each level to help mentors improve their performance and offer effective support to their mentees.
