One characteristic of blogs is that the published articles, which are called post the newest ones appear on the page first. Usually, each blog is dedicated to a specific topic, but there are some blogs on several topics mixed together.
Parts of a blog
There are 5 main parts that are maintained in most blogs:

HEADQUARTERS
This is where you usually put the logo, the title and the main menu with the sections of the blog. You can also add the description of the blog, links to RRSS... It serves above all to highlight the identity of the blog and so that the reader can navigate through the main sections or categories it has.

MAIN COLUMN
This is the main part and is usually on the left side or, also, occupying the whole width (when there is no sidebar). It is where we find the content of the articles or posts, with the title, a featured image, the date, the author of the article, the text, announcements, subscription forms, comments, etc.

SIDEBAR
This is a narrower column than the main column and is usually on the right-hand side, although some blogs also place it on the left-hand side or not at all. Boxes" or widgets are usually placed that have different functionalities, such as links to the social networks, subscription forms, a search box, advertising, special menus, most popular posts, etc.

FOOTER
This part is placed at the bottom and usually occupies the entire width of the blog or the same width as the main column. Here you can usually find information and links such as legal notices, privacy policy, information about cookies, copyright, etc. It is also often used to add links to social networks or contact information such as address, email, telephone, etc.

BACKGROUND OR BACKGROUN
This is the part that occupies the whole of the back of the blog and on which the rest of the parts are placed.
