A business owner is becoming dissatisfied because his customers are not the ones he would like to reach. Customers do not understand the message of their product and this generates a lot of complaints and decreases sales. Why might this be happening? Normally, an entrepreneur starts a company thinking; how am I going to make money? Then he defines the product and then where and to whom he can sell it.

The problem is that entrepreneurs run a business "to make money - of course, and they are right! But most entrepreneurs do not understand that money is a result, not the end.

What is a purpose or a cause for!!!!

A successful company focuses its "what for" on the personal growth of the entrepreneur and also of its employees and/or customers. In this way, employees and customers will be in tune with this "what for". If the employees identify this message, they can be more effective because they work with a sense of meaning. Moreover, if the customers identify this message in the product, they will be happy and will differentiate it from other similar products.

Does your product or service support the growth of your customers? If not, you can still define it. This message must be very clear in all forms of communication, and the reader must be able to identify it easily. If you use the company for your personal growth, this growth is guaranteed. If the company closes down (I hope not), you have earned this growth which has nothing to do with money. This explains the supposed failure of entrepreneurs with many attempts who suddenly have tremendous success.

Their motivation was never money, it was something that goes beyond money, that is indestructible, something that doesn't change. Besides knowing exactly what you are working for, they connect what they do with their values, and values select your customers and your employees. Have you ever had the opportunity to start working in two different places? Why did you choose one and not the other? You felt you were a better fit for the one you chose, didn't you? This is selection by values.

On the other hand, if you open a business for money, and it closes down; what have you gained? Only the knowledge of how not to do that kind of business. What emotions are we talking about here, the ones that let you grow or take away your self-esteem? That doesn't motivate you to continue and find new opportunities that can work.

Let's imagine a company that makes glass containers for the kitchen. An entrepreneur sells it to make money and is dissatisfied because his employees work only for a salary. They work, but have no passion or motivation to improve the company. On top of that, the customers push for lower prices, so that they can earn more. The result is that it's all about money... If we don't get the results we want; what motivates us to keep going? Therein lies the problem... where does the motivation come from?

Another entrepreneur, on the other hand, knows why he makes glass containers for the kitchen, he wants to reduce plastic pollution on the planet and he makes his message very clear. Although the prices are higher than those of his competitors, everyone buys his products and is happy to be contributing to lowering pollution and even receives a higher quality product.

As his motivation is not based on direct profit from his products, it is to improve the world, even if he does not directly obtain the desired results for his company, including possible losses, his motivation continues to be to save the world. Companies are there to make money, this is crystal clear!!! To do this, we need a business plan (+) and, flow control. So far we haven't changed anything. But your motivation and the way you do your job is different, and because of that, the workers and customers you want come.

Let's get down to work! Define your "what for" and when you talk about your business, verbally or in writing, always make it clear. If you want to live with passion you need to find out what your purpose in life is. There is a lot of talk about passion. But passion alone is not enough. Passion is the fuel, it's what makes you jump out of bed wanting to eat the world. We need one more ingredient... purpose.

Everything we do has a purpose, the purpose is to achieve something. That is the purpose, if you don't have a good purpose you will run out of gas. The passion will be extinguished. It gets complicated when you realise that you can have many passions, but only one purpose.
