Detailed instructions for working with the deliverables of the mentorDay acceleration programme

  1. Understands the importance of deliverables: Each deliverable is a comprehensive guide that addresses the key points of your business. These documents are an integral part of your business plan and will help you think through key issues to accelerate your business.
  2. It moves forward as far as possible: You do not need to complete all the questions in each deliverable. Progress through those points that you can answer easily and spend more time on those that require more thought. The aim is to move forward progressively and take the necessary time in each area.
  3. Unlimited access to deliverables: You have unlimited access to deliverables as you complete them. Use your mentorDay platform passwords to access your documents at any time and make updates as needed.
  4. Follow the established order: the questions in each deliverable follow a logical and didactic order that will help you progress more efficiently. Follow the proposed sequence and you will see how it is easier for you to advance in your work.
  5. Consult the help when you need it: Each question in the deliverable has a help accessible through links. You do not need to read all the help, only the ones you need to solve your doubts or expand your knowledge in specific areas.
  6. Share your deliverables on the dates indicated: Deadlines for sharing your deliverables will be indicated on the platform. These dates mark the right time to share your progress and receive feedback. Remember that the deliverables are yours and you will be able to access their content at any time, even if you lose access to the classroom platform.

IMPORTANT hand over the deliverable so that you can continue working on it:

  1. Keep your deliverables up to date: Deliverables are living documents that you should modify and update as you progress in your business. Update your deliverables regularly and record all progress and reflections relevant to your project. There is a webinar for each deliverable where you will have the opportunity to present your progress in three minutes and receive feedback for improvement.
  2. Participate in individual sessions with specialised counsellors: At the end of the three-week group programme, you will have the opportunity to meet with 20 specialist advisors in one-on-one sessions of two hours each. Each advisor will cover the speciality of a deliverable and help you advance its development.
  3. At the end of the three-week group programme, you will have to hand in all mandatory deliverables (especially business plan summarised in 20 slides and a list of actions (action plan in 10 pages of excel) and the deliverables you have worked on).

AT THE END OF EACH DELIVERABLE

  1. Please complete the questionnaire to rate the deliverable so that we can improve it.
  2. Make two summary slides of the deliverable and attach them to your summary business plan.
  3. Create the list of actions you need to take to accelerate your business and put them into your action plan.

COMPULSORY AT THE END OF THE THIRD WEEK
MANDATORY
RECOMMENDED ACCORDING TO YOUR NEEDS:

Working with accelerator programme deliverables can seem overwhelming at first, but don't worry, here are some tips on how to get the most out of them.

Each deliverable is a guide to help you reflect on the key points of your company. It is not necessary to complete all the questions, go as far as you can and take your time on those points that need more reflection. There is a different deliverable for each key area in the acceleration process, and you will have unlimited access to them to complete them little by little.

The questions have been selected based on the experience gained over more than 30 years of successfully accelerating more than 1000 companies, so we recommend that you follow the pace set in the programme. Each question comes with an accessible help with a link, although it is not necessary to read them all, just the ones you need.

The delivery date only marks the point at which you should share the deliverable to see where you have got to. The deliverables are yours and you will have their content (including links) forever, so don't worry if you lose access to the classroom platform.

The deliverable is a living document that you will have to access many times to complete little by little, and each day of the programme you will be asked to focus on the deliverables that correspond to each sprint. At the end of the group part of the programme, you will be asked to create two slides and a list of actions to be included in your business plan and action plan. At the end of the group sessions, you will have 20 meetings with different consultants, each covering the speciality of one deliverable, to help you to make the deliverable as advanced as possible.

We hope these tips will help you to work with deliverables more effectively and to get the most value out of them. Go for it and go for it!

How should an entrepreneur work on each deliverable to get the most value out of it?

The deliverable is a complete guide that includes all the most important points that an entrepreneur should think about. It is like a checklist in which the entrepreneur should stop to reflect and write down just enough to be understood by whoever is going to give him feedback.

Each deliverable is a part of your company's business plan. The sum of all deliverables forms the business plan you need to accelerate your company.

First try to answer as many questions as you can in the deliverable, without reading links. Follow the logical order that we propose in each deliverable, the order follows a didactic logic that we have proposed in each deliverable, you will see that it will be much easier for you to advance.

You do not have to complete all the questions in each deliverable. Entrepreneurs who have already advanced a part of their project will find that they can easily answer the first questions of each deliverable. We recommend that you make as much progress as you can and slow down on those points that you are not clear on and on those points, we recommend that you consult the supporting TIps for each question, but only for those you are unsure about.

In each question write little, just enough for a third party to understand you and above all to make it easy for them to give you feedback so that you can improve each deliverable.

You have all the deliverables accessible in your drive folder, and you can enter many times in each one of them and write down all the progress you are making in your project. You will enter many times in each deliverable.

On the platform we will indicate a maximum date to share each deliverable as you have it at that date. This date and time does not mean that you must have everything complete, it only marks the right time to share your deliverable so that we can measure your progress.

Every day we will measure the progress in your deliverables and compare them with the work done by the rest of the colleagues who started the programme at the same time, to publish the daily ranking, where you will be able to see your position according to the work you have done in your deliverables. Cheer up, every day you can climb the ranking!

You only have to complete the mandatory deliverables plus those that suit you to accelerate your project. There is a different deliverable for each key area in the acceleration process: business model, validation, feasibility, marketing, sales, strategy.

A deliverable is never really finished, it is a living document that you change as you move forward with the company. You will receive all your deliverables when you are admitted to a programme. You will be able to open them, modify them as many times as you want, in fact the more you work on them the better.

Follow the pace we set for you in the programme. You will share each deliverable only with whoever you want, we recommend that you follow the deadlines marked on the platform for each deliverable, to ask for feedback from your peers, experts and/or mentors.

The questions have been selected based on the experience gained over 30 years of successfully accelerating over 1000 companies in one of the top 5 programmes in the world. We have chosen them for the high value they bring to your acceleration.

Don't read all the help, just what you need. Each question comes with an accessible help with a link. It is not necessary to read all the help links, only where you have questions.

You don't have to read the whole TIP, just until you are clear on the concept. Each TIP has the basic concept at the beginning, and if it is not enough for you, you can continue reading until you are clear on how to apply it to your project. You don't have to read the whole TIP, just until you are clear on how to apply it to your project.

The delivery date only marks the point at which you should share the deliverable to see where you have got to.

The deliverables are yours and you will have their content (including links forever), don't worry if you lose access to the classroom platform.

The important thing is to advance as far as you can as far as you can. Depending on the stage you are at, you will be able to get as far as you can. Follow the order of the questions and advance as far as you can, reading the help only when you have doubts.

The deliverable is a living document that you will have to access many times to complete little by little, as you progress in your company you will write down more thoughts, ideas, actions, etc. Each day of the programme we will ask you to focus on the deliverables that correspond to each sprint and we will give you a deadline that same day to work on the deliverables corresponding to that day. Each of the three weeks of the programme we will ask you to re-enter your deliverables and make as much progress as you can on your deliverable.

When do you finish a deliverable?

Actually a deliverable is always in continuous change, we consider as good the deliverable you have at the end of the group sessions (the three weeks of the acceleration programme).

At the end of the group part of the programme, in the third week, for each deliverable you will have to create two slides to be included in the powerpoint of your business plan and a list of actions to be included in your action plan. artificial intelligence (see+ TIP) is of great help in making this synthesis).

When you have passed the three-week group programme you will be entitled to meet free of charge with 20 specialist advisors, in two-hour sessions, each of them covering the speciality of a deliverable, one-on-one with a specialist advisor to leave the deliverable as advanced as possible. At the end of the three group weeks, for one month and every day you will have a two-hour session for each deliverable. (This is only for students in the Acelérate programme).
