Demo Day is an event organised by a startup accelerator that takes place at the end of the acceleration programme, where entrepreneurs have the opportunity to present their projects to investors, entrepreneurs and other relevant players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. This is the Demo Day organised every month by mentorDay (see+). These are the members of the jury (see+) that value the companies that present their projects. During the Demo Day, entrepreneurs present their projects through a pitch lasting a few minutes. (at mentorDay it is a pitch combat of one minute each), with the aim of capturing the attention and interest of the people present. In this presentation, entrepreneurs usually show an overview of their business, their business model, the market in which they operate, milestones achieved and future objectives. They can also present demonstrations of their product or service and answer questions from investors.
The Demo Day is a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to showcase their project, get valuable feedback and build relationships with potential investors and other players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. For investors, Demo Day is an opportunity to identify new investment opportunities and meet the entrepreneurs behind the projects.
